Squiggy,
Stormy, Gloria & Minerva
Look into the
eyes of these kitties.
They are so full of love. When you read what is about to happen to
them it will break your heart.
Once again Feline
Friends was asked to help out in the rescue of a large group of kitties
that were living in a barn. Our volunteers set traps,
expecting to catch a handful of kittens and adults, but as the numbers
grew to double digits, we realized we were dealing with a bigger
problem. Now the kitties, many of them nervous around people, are in
our foster homes looking for new places to live.
As you may know if you
have visited us recently at our Petsmart adoption center, many of the kitties have been with us for
months and are used to moving around the adoption area. Squiggy,
Stormy, Gloria, and Minerva (shown above) are four sweet,
adorable, gentle, kitties who have practically grown up with us at
Feline Friends. They are shy and will need quiet, loving homes with
patient people who are willing to give them time to adjust. However,
there aren't enough cages in the adoption center for all the kitties,
so Squiggy, Gloria, Minerva and Stormy will soon be moved to a room in
an outdoor shed with a number of other less-adoptable kitties, where
they will no longer get the level of attention they need.
These
four get along great with other cats and would benefit by having other
cats around. They do each need a quiet home to feel comfortable. For
more active homes, we also have lots of wonderful, friendly lap kitties
up for adoption.
PLEASE help
the kitties! If you cannot adopt one of the barn cats, consider
providing a home for Squiggy, Gloria, Minerva or Stormy so they don’t
have to go back to being barn cats themselves. They’ve come so far and will just
thrive in a loving home!
