Volunteer Opportunities

We rely on the help of our volunteers to do everything we do! Here is how you can get involved.

Adoption Center Program:
Our adoption center is located at the PetsMart in Salem, NH. We need dedicated individuals to help to clean, feed and socialize the cats each day. Whether you have time available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends, you can make a difference in the lives of many homeless cat and kittens. The time commitment is a minimum of one three hour time slot per week. Pick up a volunteer application at our PetsMart adoption table or email to felinefriendsnh@comcast.net and ask that one be sent to you.

Foster Program:
This program is for people who wish to open their homes to care for cats and kittens until they can be adopted. You may choose to foster a pregnant mother cat, mother with kittens, motherless kittens or an adult cat. You will need a separate room away from other pets and lots of time to socialize. You will provide the food, litter, toys and love. While fostering you will need to understand that the cats and kittens are the sole responsibility of Feline Friends. Should a friend or relative be interested in adoption, they must go through the Feline Friends adoption process. If you are a cat lover and have the necessary resources, consider becoming a foster home. It is so rewarding!
